      Company Bio

With over a combined 50 years of successful business ownership experience, Glorie and Betty transitioned their knowledge and acumen towards business coaching to support other women dreaming of financial success. Together they built  myCEO.ca, a business coaching and mastermind group seminar service to build accountability, peer support and leadership skills among new business owners.

      Overview

In March 2019, picnic met with Glorie and Betty, co-founders of myCEO.ca, to increase their digital footprint online through organic measures, as well as maintain follow-up marketing initiatives with their subscribers and followers. Together, we built a keyword strategy focusing on women entrepreneurship and specific leadership skills to build relevancy and timeliness to local and regional audience members. This year, we also focused on building an online presence among Linkedin users, who averaged a 2-minute session duration online.

In less than a year, Betty and Glorie now enjoy a 20% growth in their website, with an average 40% acquisition coming from purely organic means, compared to 18% last year. Their social acquisition rose to 12% and their email subscription base averages to 120 per month. Next focus in their funnel efforts will be increasing their email subscriber base.

      The Approach

picnic began with a top funnel strategy and created a content calendar using long tail keywords and categories that matched with myCEO.ca’s business as well as their competitors. Website content and landing pages moved the user to email subscriptions and free guides. myCEO.ca spiked engagement by connecting with partners in their community with value-added blogs, events and workshops that coincided with seasons and themes.

Online @Shutterstock says to go to your plan where you can turn off renewal. Thing is, I have no plan to speak of 👇. SO how is it I'm paying for an annual plan I never signed up for? Are you actually taking single purchases & auto renewing them without any plan? This is illegal.

What @Shutterstock is doing should be illegal. To autorenew without any receipt, invoice, notification and not even a way to stop it without having to contact customer service, who doesn't answer your calls. No wonder they have a 93% poor service review online. #shutterstock
